Code of Conduct
We want a place where lived solidarity comes first and everyone can have a good time. To achieve this, we want to create a space together in which everyone feels accepted and respected, regardless of gender identity, skin colour, age, religion or ethnic background.
Discrimination & harassment
We do not tolerate any form of racism, sexism, antisemitism, ageism, ableism, adultism or discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, religion, social status or worldview at the event.
We do not tolerate harassment. Harassment includes, but is not limited to: unwanted sexualised attention, unwanted physical contact, violence or threats of violence, deliberate intimidation, stalking or following, unwanted nudity and/or sexualised images, repeated disruption of talks or other events, and supporting or condoning any of the above behaviours.
How we treat each other
We expect a friendly, mindful, inclusive and respectful way of engaging with one another, which includes conscious, gender-sensitive language and an appropriate use of the pronouns with which each person identifies.
Mistakes happen. We ask all participants to give honest feedback or constructive criticism respectfully in difficult situations, to de-escalate disagreements and to stand up for others when they are not currently able to do so for themselves, and to be open, honest and willing to talk in cases of conflict.
If needed, please refer participants to the awareness or organising team on site.
Photos & recordings
Across the entire Kollapscamp site, private photo and audio recording is only permitted with the explicit consent of all those being recorded. Please ask everyone present before switching on your recording device.
Drugs & alcohol
We ask you to consume alcohol and other substances responsibly. Illegal drugs are unwelcome and inappropriate — particularly because children are at the camp. We want to be and stay present with one another.
Consequences
By purchasing a ticket and entering the event site, you agree to this code of conduct. Any violation will be investigated by the awareness team and may, after all parties have been heard, result in exclusion from the event. The ticket price will not be refunded in this case.
